The Sooner Athletic Conference Highlights 2026 NAIA Softball All-American Honors with Both Pitcher and Player of the Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2026 NAIA Softball All-Americans, Player and Pitcher of the Year honors following the World Series last week in Columbus, Ga. In addition to the three All-American teams, Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year honors have been announced, highlighted by a pair of Sooner Athletic Conference institutions: Analise Rayburn of Oklahoma City and Aubree Ferguson of Science & Arts (Okla.).
Rayburn from OCU goes back-to-back, earning player of the year honors after compiling a .429 average this season, starting all 59 games for the Stars in 2026. Totaling 182 at-bats this season, she scored 74 runs on 78 hits with 23 doubles, two triples, and 26 home runs. She was stellar in situational hitting this season as well, driving in 31 runs with two outs. Her biggest games of the season came against Graceland (Iowa), where she hit three home runs for nine RBI, and against Avila (Mo.) and Langston (Okla.), where she recorded five at-bats in each game.
Aubree Ferguson of USAO was tabbed as the 2026 Pitcher of the Year after posting a .82 ERA across 31 appearances this season. Ferguson tossed a total of 170 innings in 2026, striking out 175 batters while allowing the defense behind her to grab another 140 groundouts and 174 flyouts. She went 25-3 on the season, starting 26 of those games and going the distance in 21.
