SCAD (Ga.) to Open 2026-27 at No. 1 in Women’s Golf Top 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – SCAD (Ga.) collected 11 of a possible 17 first-place votes and will begin the 2026-27 Women’s Golf season at No. 1 in the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25. The defending national champions were one of four teams to garner first-place consideration to start the year.

Keiser (Fla.), Dalton State (Ga.), and British Columbia – two through four in the rating – all collected first-place nods, and that trio was joined in the top five by Marian (Ind.), one spot ahead of Crossroads League rival Indiana Wesleyan. The 2026-27 Preseason Top 25 did include 26 teams, as Coastal Georgia and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) each collected 81 points to tie at No. 25.

The Preseason edition of the 2026-27 NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 is the first of three fall ratings in 2026, the next two on Oct. 16 and Oct. 30, with four more spring ratings beginning April 2, culminating with the final rating, May 13, to determine at-large selections for the 2027 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship in Dalton, Ga.
