KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Annie Dhabliwala of Ave Maria (Fla.) helped her team to two massive wins last week, both at home, as she picks up national offensive player of the week honors.

Dhabliwala started all three games for the Gyrenes last week at home, lifting her team to a perfect 3-0 stretch. She opened the week against Ottawa (Kan.), where she scored seven goals and added one assist in the 22-11 win over the Braves. She also won seven draw controls and was a perfect 8-for-8 in shots on goal.

Two days later, Dhabliwala and Co. picked up the team’s first-ever win against Davis and Elkins, where she scored four goals with a pair of assists. She picked up four ground balls, won two draw controls, and caused one turnover as the Gyrenes secured the 15-3 victory.

Then, the big game, the highlight of the week. Dhabliwala was locked in against the Blue Devils of Lawrence Tech (Mich.), scoring three goals, 2-for-4 on free-position shots, one draw control, and 10 total shots, helping the Gyrenes earn their first-ever victory over LTU in a 12-9 game.

Overall, she scored 14 total goals on the week, assisted on three more, 3-for-6 in free-position goals, six ground balls, 10 draw controls, and 26 total shots over three games.

Dhabliwala and company are back in action later today at home against Kean (N.J.). Opening draw is set for 6 p.m. ET.
