KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lindsey Wilson’s (Ky.) Hannah Reid has been named the Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week after a standout showing at the 2026 Jim Freeman / Clark Wood Open, held April 23–25 in Louisville.

Reid delivered one of the most impressive performances of the meet by winning the 400-meter dash in 53.64, a time that not only met the NAIA “A” standard but also set a new school record. Competing against a deep field of 70 athletes that included competitors from DI programs as well as NAIA schools.

Reid’s record-breaking 400 was the centerpiece of a week in which she achieved two NAIA “A” standards. In addition to her individual title, she also helped Lindsey Wilson post an “A” standard mark in the 4×100-meter relay, where the team ran 46.35 and placed seventh among 18 relay squads. Together, those results highlighted both Reid’s individual excellence and her value as a contributor to the Blue Raiders’ relay success.

With her 53.64 in the 400, Reid now owns the top time in the conference and sits third in the NAIA.
