Keiser (Fla.) Capturs Four National Titles to Extend Lead Heading into Final Day of the NAIA Women’s Swimming and Diving National Championship

Elkhart, Ind. – Keiser (Fla.) notched four national champions and one NAIA record on day three of the 2026 NAIA National Championship to remain atop the team standings Friday night at the Elkhart Aquatic Center.         

The Seahawks tallied 441 points to extend their lead in the standings.  KU’s 400 medley relay of Natalia Janiszewska, Kate Vorontsova, Luiza Bersi, and Alanis Santiago teamed up to break the NAIA record with a winning time of 3:41.24.  Bersi captured her second individual national title after winning the 100 fly (53.76), while Santiago touched the wall in 1:49.84 to win the 200 free.  Janiszewska captured the 100 back national title with a time of 53.95. 

SCAD-Savannah (Ga.) posted a trio of top-three finishes on the day to remain in second place with 344 points.  Nikki Hahn went 1:01.84 to pull away from the field and win the 100 breast.  Valle Gonzalez Ares tallied a runner-up finish in the 100 fly (54.51), while Jette Haedicke went 54.40 in the 100 back to place third.

Cumberlands (Ky.)  moved into sole possession of third place with 287 points after tallying five All-American swims.  Megan Schoenlein led a quartet of Patriots scorers in the 100 breast, going 1:03.58 to finish third.  Cumberlands also notched a fourth-place finish in the 400 medley relay.

St. Thomas (Fla.) sits in fourth place with 264 points.  The Bobcats’ Alessia Claassen captured the 400 IM national title with a winning time of 4:22.95. 

The Masters (Calif.) rounds out the top five with 232 points behind a pair of national runner-up finishes.

The NAIA Championship will wrap up on Saturday, March 7, with the final day of competition. Prelims are slated to begin at 9 a.m. EST, and finals will start at 5 p.m. EST.
