KANSAS CITY, Mo – Brynnley Bryant of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the PrestoSports NAIA Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week after leading the Patriots to a perfect 4-0 record against a challenging slate of opponents, including victories over No. 9 Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) and No. 13 IU Kokomo (Ind.).

The junior outside hitter from Wilmington, Ohio, delivered one of the most impressive offensive performances of the opening weeks of the season, totaling 65 kills across 17 sets played while averaging 3.82 kills per set. Bryant added 54 digs, six total blocks and three service aces as she showcased her all-around impact in helping the Patriots improve to 9-1 overall.

Bryant opened the week with a double-double performance in a five-set win over Rio Grande (Ohio), recording 15 kills and 13 digs. She followed that effort later in the day against IU Kokomo by collecting eight kills and a career-high 18 digs in a straight-set victory.

Her standout performance came against nationally ranked Mount Vernon Nazarene, where Bryant erupted for a career-high 24 kills in a five-set thriller. The total tied for the fifth-most kills in a single match in program history and helped Cumberlands secure a pivotal victory over the No. 9 Cougars. Bryant also added 14 digs, two service aces and a .310 hitting percentage in the win.

She closed the week with another solid showing against Marian (Ind.), recording 18 kills and nine digs while hitting .289 in a four-set triumph.

For the week, Bryant posted a .260 attack percentage, averaging 4.2 points per set, and reached double-digit kills in three of four matches.
