Maggie Hollon of Huntington (Ind.) is the First 2026 PrestoSports NAIA Attacker of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo – Huntington (Ind.) sophomore outside hitter Maggie Hollon turned in an outstanding opening weekend, leading the Foresters’ attack with 72 kills in 13 sets while averaging 5.54 kills per set and hitting .301.

The Warsaw, Indiana native showcased her offensive firepower throughout the weekend, but her biggest performances came on Saturday against No. 17 Aquinas (Mich.) and Ohio Christian. Hollon combined for 46 kills in those two matches, including 20 kills on a .395 hitting percentage against the Saints.

She followed that effort with a career-best performance in Huntington’s four-set win over Ohio Christian, recording 26 kills while hitting .393.

In addition to her offensive production, she added 41 digs and averaged 3.15 digs per set to her stat line. Over four matches, Hollon also added two service aces, two block assists, and 75 total points, averaging 5.8 points per set.

Hollon and the Foresters will return to action this week on August 26 as the team opens Crossroads League play at Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio).
