KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has renewed the partnership with Short’s Travel Management, extending the company’s designation as the Trusted Service Provider for Travel of the NAIA.

Since 2017, Short’s has been a resource for NAIA members to coordinate travel. Through automated booking and travel support, Short’s helps coaches manage the logistics of safe and cost-effective travel options that get teams where they need to be on time.

Postseason travel can present unique challenges for college athletic programs, particularly when budgets are limited and schedules are tight. Short’s will continue assisting NAIA coaches with travel planning and booking, including support when unexpected disruptions, such as weather delays or rescheduled games, affect travel plans.

“Our partnership with the NAIA reflects a shared commitment to supporting student-athletes and the people who make championship experiences possible,” said David LeCompte, CEO of Short’s Travel Management. “We’re proud to continue this relationship and look forward to building on what we’ve accomplished together while delivering the service, expertise, and support NAIA members can count on.”

The renewed agreement reinforces the NAIA’s commitment to providing member institutions with resources to help navigate the demands of postseason competition.

“Short’s has set the standard for collegiate athletics travel, and continuing our partnership just makes sense,” said NAIA President & CEO Jim Carr. “When it’s postseason play and every second counts, we know Short’s will get our teams where they need to go and let coaches focus on what really matters at that time.”

This partnership agreement runs through June 2029.
