Hardman, a converted quarterback, also recorded six touchbacks and also punted for MNU, landing his only punt of the day inside the 20, as the Pioneers improved to 2-0.

With 10:26 left in the first quarter, Hardman hit his first field goal, from 37 yards, and two of his five PATs came in the first quarter, as MNU built a 17-0 lead. Hardman struck again from 22 yards with 1:14 left in the half, putting MNU up 27-14, and he made third quarter field goals of 34 yards and 23 yards to edge the Pioneers in front 33-21.

He made his fourth and fifth PATs of the game, completing 5-for-5 on the day, in the fourth quarter. In all, Hardman has made nine of the 10 kicks he’s faced this season, missing only on a field goal in the season opener against Nelson (Texas).
