KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Trezell Patterson of The College of Idaho was the spark for the Yotes over the weekend on special teams averaging 63.5 yards per return as he adds PrestoSports-NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week honors to his name.
The senior put on a show over the weekend with 127 return yards on two kickoffs including one that he took 84-yards to the house in the final play of the first half and turning off any momentum from the opposition for a 28-19 lead heading into the break.
Patterson and company are back on the field Saturday, October 3 for a noon kickoff against Simpson (Calif.). Saturday’s contest is part of the the Yotes Purple & White Homecoming weekend.
