Top Two Seeds Move Forward in Mega Match as Men’s Bowling Championship Gets Underway in Michigan
LANSING, Mich. – The 2026 NAIA Men’s Bowling National Championships opened Thursday at Royal Scot in Lansing, Michigan, with the debut of the high-stakes Mega Match format, where teams must claim two of three points—a traditional team game, a five-game Baker total pinfall set, and, if necessary, a best-of-seven Baker matchplay.

Men’s Division Round Results
The men’s field saw the top four seeds receive first-round byes, while the remaining eight teams battled to advance in the Blue and Red brackets.
Opening Round (Morning Session):
- #8 Aquinas (Mich.) defeated #9 Spring Arbor (Mich.), 2-0.
- #5 Indiana Tech swept #12 Ottawa (Kan.), 2-0.
