KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After winning the Red Banner on an undefeated season, Park (Mo.) remains at No. 1 in the postseason edition of the Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

Saint Xavier (Ill.) climbs one spot to No. 2 after previously sitting third with a strong 31-4 record and runner-up finish in the championship. Meanwhile, The Master’s (Calif.) dips slightly to No. 3 despite an impressive 24-2 mark, with losses to OUAZ (Ariz.) just before postseason and Saint Xavier (Ill.) in the semifinals. Missouri Valley moves up to No. 4 after being ranked fifth previously, while Mount Mercy (Iowa) slides back one spot to round out the top five.

Movement throughout the rest of the poll reflects a competitive middle tier, with several teams making notable jumps. William Penn (Iowa) rises three spots to No. 7, while Indiana Tech makes a similar leap to No. 9 after previously sitting 12th. Bethel (Ind.) also gains momentum, climbing three positions to No. 12, while Reinhardt (Ga.) rejoins the Top 15.

Poll Methodology

  • The national poll is for publicity purposes only and does not influence the selection process for national championship consideration.
  • A panel of head coaches representing each conference and the Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) votes in the poll.
  • The Top 15 teams are selected using a points-based system:
    • 20 points for a 1st-place vote, 19 for 2nd, 18 for 3rd, and so on.
  • The highest and lowest rankings received by each team are discarded before final tallying.
  • Teams receiving only one point are not listed as “receiving votes.”
  • For the Preseason Poll, there is no “previous ranking” column since it is the initial poll and differs from the prior rating system.

Key: RV – Receiving Votes, NR – Not Ranked, ▲– Climbed, ▼- Dropped, ● – Steady
