Landry Fans 13 in 1-0 Win Over The Master's, Named NAIA Pitcher of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Josh Landry, a senior righty for No. 4 Hope International (Calif.) is the NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week after a shutout that preserved a 1-0 win for the Royals over The Master's (Calif.), a seven-inning complete game that pushed his record to 4-1 on the year.

Landry (Long Beach, Calif.) didn't walk a batter in the win over the Mustangs, claiming a pitchers' duel over TMU's Gage Webster, who entred the game as the NAIA's wins leader.

He struck out 13, scattering four hits over seven innings, starting the game by striking out five of the first seven Mustang batters. Later in the game, he struck out the side in both the fourth and fifth innings.

Landry should get his next start in a GSAC series, this weekend, as the Royals travel to La Sierra (Calif.).
