Women's Basketball

NAIA Women’s Basketball gives student-athletes the opportunity to compete at a high level while earning an education that prepares them for success beyond the game. With programs across North America, the NAIA offers competitive collegiate basketball, athletic scholarships, and recruiting opportunities for players looking to continue their careers at the next level.

Balancing competition, academics, and campus life, NAIA Women’s Basketball programs provide meaningful playing time and long-term development in a close-knit team environment. From early-season tournaments to conference play, teams compete for the opportunity to reach the NAIA Women’s Basketball National Championship, one of the longest-running events in collegiate women’s basketball since 1981.

NAIA Women’s Basketball has helped develop standout athletes who earned national recognition and elevated the sport, including Miriam Walker-Samuels, Grace Beyer, and Deb Remmerde-Leusink. More than wins and losses, the NAIA experience is about leadership, growth, and competing with purpose The Right Way to Play®.
