KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Indiana Wesleyan’ sophomore ‘s Addison Meadows is the NAIA Women’s Golfer of the Week for Oct. 21, the final fall award for 2026-27, after opening the Harrison Lake Collegiate with a 5-under 66 on the way to a win in the second-to-last event for the Wildcats in the fall portion of the season.
Meadows, a sophomore from New Market, Ind., caught a hot putter late in the first round, on Oct. 12, making seven birdies in her final 10 holes. She opened that round with five consecutive pars and made one of only two bogeys on her sixth hole, a five at the par-4 ninth. Two pars followed to open the back nine, where she made five of her seven birdies in the round and shot 31.
The birdie run continued in the second round, immediately after the first, opening with a pair of birdies before rolling off seven-straight pars. She shot 73 in the second round, and matched that number in the final round, adding six birdies to the card and securing a three-stroke win.
Meadows was the only player under par in the event, edging Marian’s (Ind.) Emma Weiler. Meadows made 16 birdies over 54 holes, in all, and led the event in par-4 scoring, at 2-under, and par-5 scoring at 4-under par.
The Wildcats have one more event left this fall, traveling to Lakeland, Fla., for the Oct. 26-27 Southeastern University Fall Invite, at Grasslands Country Club.
