KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Keiser (Fla.) claimed both NAIA Golfer of the Week designations on Oct. 14, as sophomore Herry Ji finished 1-under to claim women’s recognition, and senior Yann Ferrando put three rounds in the 60s to win the Jupiter Collegiate, earning the men’s nod in the second-to-last edition of NAIA golf awards for the fall.

Ji, a London native, was one of only three women’s golfers under par at the Jupiter event, opening the tournament with a 1-over 71, followed by a second-round 68 to get to 1-under through 36 holes.

She secured a third-place finish in the tournament with an even-par 70 in the final round, marking her seventh top-five finish in her Keiser career, as well as her lowest 54-hole total in a Seahawk uniform. On the week, Ji was even par on par 4s and par 5s, draining 33 par putts in the event. She also recorded a Keiser-best 12 birdies and added an eagle.

Ji’s three-round 209 helped second-ranked Keiser to a second-place finish as a team, two shots behind Eastern Florida State.

Ferrando was spectacular last week at the Jupiter, opening his first collegiate win with a 7-under 63 on the way to a 195 total over 54 holes.

His play helped the Seahawks set a school record for relative par, at 46-under as a team, and Ferrando was 15-under individually, a career best. The team win was the third-straight for the top-ranked Seahawks.

Ferrando was even on par 3s in the event, 8-under on par 4s, and 7 under on par 4s, making 32 par putts while posting 17 birdies and an eagle at Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club.

The Keiser women return to the 2026-27 schedule Oct. 26-27 at the Flagler Fall Slam, in St. Augustine, Fla., while the men are back in action a week earlier, at the Citrus Intercollegiate, Oct. 19-20 in Davenport, Fla.
